She worked for the United States Court of Appeals of Kansas in the capacity of a clerk when she graduated from law school. It was a brief stint in the government and she moved to New York City. In her new job she focused on corporate law. She appeared on television in 1998. The channel aired her many times discussing issues surrounding the Bill Clinton scandals and impeachment. In its wake in 1998, she released her debut book, The High Crimes of Misdemeanors the case Against Bill Clinton for which she was also accused of plagiarism.
